Have to take the intangibles into consideration here …

#2 Rodgers went down what 3 or 4 plays into game 1 … Zach Wilson and Trevor Siemian aren’t scaring anybody. I’m sure Cook wouldn’t have been much more affective with a better QB behind center .

if we can squeeze it … give it a shot … he just might be the power back or thunder we need since we traded for jackshit at the deadline in the RB dept. Pollard can’t get those tough goal line yds he’s too puss…and with Dowdle a little banged up ….i say fuck it . I’m not by any means saying he’s gonna be our saving grace but with the glaring hole on our running game ..I’d be willing to give anything a try at this point.

He isn't a power runner. Our run blocking isn't any better. And I think he has a bit of a fumbling problem. I'd stay away. An ineffective run game sucks. But an ineffective run game that sucks and fumbles the ball is a complete disaster to torpedo any chance we have at winning in the playoffs.

I do too. I'm not against adding someone, but I just don't have a good feeling about him in particular. He's definitely not what he was in Minnesota all those years.

Yeah he was electric in Minnesota. But if that speed and elusiveness isn't there than it's a bad idea to bring him in. If we are hunting for a RB it should be a 230 pound dude who runs hard and can slam it up the gut and knock people backwards.

We will limp into the playoffs at RB . That’s kinda criminal given how the curse has been lifted and all.

IMO, the issue is more with the OL/scheme... the 49ers (and others) move the ball fine with RB's smaller than ours.

Anytime a team that is not sound starts counting on a kicker like Garrett got away with for years. The evidence is there when we get all excited by Maher until his trick is taken away.
