Having LVE back was everything. I like Clark, but he’s been missing some assignments the last few weeks. It also is good for Barr to not play as much.
Clark is a rookie who didn’t get a training camp. He’s still acclimating to the NFL.

The thing with Tyler Smith is that he isn’t fully filled out yet either. He’ll get stronger.

McCarthy went thru this with Mason Crosby at one point. Not saying he can fix him or advocating for Maher, but this is familiar to him.

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

I think I did, which is why I'm not enthused.

I'm not living or dying by it anymore.

If we lose, I roll it off.

But conversely I'm not hanging on every last win anymore either. Oh, we won the wildcard? Nice.

But I'm not so invested that I'm desperate at every moment and ecstatic when they win.

And I've found that it's like, oh, good, they won a wildcard round.

A large part is their own Dallas/Jones fuckery.

But another big part is that I fucking hate the way the league is run. I hate the new rules. I hate the shitty refs. I hate that coming back from 28-0 is routine anymore and that defense is impossible. I hate the new draft format. I hate the new announcer teams, I hate that Buck and Aikman don't do our Sunday games anymore. I hate the 17th game. I hate the new playoff format. And I hate that the league definitely doesn't call games fairly for Dallas.
I agree with a lot of this. It ruins the game to have refs in a position to determine the outcome of a game. You expect that at the high school or even college level- but at the pro level? No way.

It totally ruins the game that the refs need replay to understand what is a catch and not a catch, yet a simple grab called as a “hold” can wipe out the biggest play of a game and is not even reviewable. It’s ridiculous and has turned a sport into an entertainment event.

Right. He gets lost in coverage and we can’t be having that shit.

Maybe Matt Amendola. Kicked for the Chiefs earlier.

As a Cowboys fan, you have got to take the wins and celebrate them when you can. But, these beaten wives can't do that. Which I guess I can understand to a degree, but fuck I'm enjoying this one today.
I have been way down on the team the last couple of years and they seemed to go down the same paths a couple of times this year with GB and the season finale. But. Playoff time came and they played exactly how they should. Last night they were well coached and executed brilliantly. This is the happiest I have been as a Cowboys fan in quite sometime.

As a Dak fan I want to be fair. His footwaork is still lacking. He throws off his back foot still too much. He gets happy feet in the pocket. Sometimes he freezes when pressure is coming quickly.

He is so much better on the run. Very similar to Romo in that way.

Don't make him a pocket passer. He will never truly be that. Let him (dare I say) be a little kid out there.
He played smart last night. If he can consistently be that Dak I will take it. It’s is when he gets inconsistent and sloppy is when he is frustrating.

You guys are vicious.

:lol
Sometime back in like October I remember laughing my ass off at this guy losing his supermodel wife and kids so he could play on this shit team at 45 years of age with literally nothing left to prove.

At the time I thought we might sack him 6 times in the wild card game and retire him but he doesn't hold the ball so we basically dominated to the same tune, just slightly different looking.

He has a 30/year gig waiting once he retires and he wants to keep trudging along at 46 years of age, it's insane.
