That's exactly what I said.

Wright was actually looking back for the ball and had his arms extended to catch the ball. The WR looked like he did a swim move to try to get inside leverage and in doing so he pushed Wright out of the way.
I think it was absolutely OPI.

One encouraging thing from last night is that we couldn't run for shit which often spells doom for our offensive production but we still put up 27. Not to mention 3 turnovers.
Dak was throwing the ball pretty well outside the one really dumb INT. It was great to see more Hilton too. I think he could be a big boost for Dak to not always have to look for CeeDee

Yeah, but even that is a pretty big upgrade over Joseph who was pretty much unplayable. He looks competent. Can't say that for Bossman.
I was told that he is less than serviceable….

I'm going to sunshine pump for a second.

Obviously the INTs need to get cleaned up, but overall I think the offense is performing better down the stretch this year than it did in 2021. Dak played clean turnover free football after the 2021 Broncos game, but the offense was stagnant. Aside, from the two lopsided 50 point games vs the Eagles and Skins, Dak's avg yards per pass was about 5 yards per attempt. Since the Vikings game this year he's over 8 yards per attempt. So I'll stomach a turnover for this more aggressive approach. I think it puts us in a better position to win games than the constant (safe) check downs to the TEs that we got late last season.

Also, the other thing that killed us last year, especially in the playoff game, was penalties. We're finally turning the corner in that department. Last night they only had 3 penalties for 35 yards. Over the last 5 games they're averaging only 3 penalties per game. Last year they were being penalized at a rate of 8 penalties per game.

The media and Cowboys haters love to point out players other teams are missing, but they conveniently ignore that the Cowboys have lost several key starters recently as well. Hopefully we get some of these defensive guys back for the playoff run so it doesn't take Dak leading the offense to 30+ points to even have a shot at winning.

I agree all around although the problem now is that the defense is turning into a pumpkin. They only allowed 13 last night but they didn't look great by the eye test with how many passes the Titans dropped.

The offense is looking solid but our pass rush seems to be slowing down a bit, the secondary is starting to get very leaky and the run defense is still meh.

Just gotta hope they can find their form in the playoffs and/or keep up the rate of turnover generation.

The biggest thing that concerned me about last night was the run blocking. It was atrocious and has been our strength all year. We are really missing Steele it appears.

Not too worried about Biadasz, he has 2+ weeks, was walking without crutches and is an interior OL.

McGovern looked decent last night but the communication and lack of continuity would definitely cause issues, pretty comfortable about Biadasz coming back though.

I think if McGovern got a couple weeks of practice he'd be fine at C. That's a tough position to move into in the middle of a game, especially coming from another position as opposed to someone who only plays C.

The one encouraging thing is the team continues to win even if it is winning ugly.
We have seen teams win super bowls by winning ugly. Also the refs seemed to be in the Cowboys corner last night which was a little disconcerting.

True, but I wonder if the shuffling last night was just an in-game thing.

I would rather flip Tyron Smith and Peters at their respective tackle spots if Tyler Smith is going to remain at LG.

I wonder where Farniok is, I think he was only supposed to miss a month or so back in like October but I haven't heard anything about him being activated. He'd obviously make a ton of sense at center if we had to play without Biadasz, although ultimately the fact that he was allowed to stand on the sideline for a quarter, walk back on his own into the locker room, etc. makes me think it's relatively minor.

My big question is how much do you play this new iteration of the OL together against Washington if it's a meaningless game in order to build some sort of continuity just in case?

I would say you kind of need that.

It doesn't seem like we get much push when run blocking. It's almost like a pass block set while trying to open a running lane. We hardly ever push back to the second level.
