This is true. Short of Dak playing stellar in every game the fans were going to eventually come out to attack his performance. It's too bad because I think he knows how to shred the Eagles. All we had to do was win this game. But we didn't and back to the drawing board yet again. And yet another whole offseason of Dak debate.
I know the starting QB will always be talked about, but is there that much of a debate anymore?

Dak is and will be here, so all we can do it put the best team possible around him and hope for the best.

How that hell does that happen? I mean he did ok, that play should have been picked by Diggs or at least broken up. But good lord that fat man ran a long distance.
Diggs absolutely should have punched the ball out.

Instead he closed his eyes and assumed the fetal position.

That was a good view of Diggs' blatant pussying-out of a tackle. In high school, if one of my coaches had seen that, the player would have been yanked immediately and benched.
So many other players in that secondary with lesser ability play with a hell of a lot more heart than Diggs.

I love the INTs, but he had some really bad moments yesterday.

Now that we've seen Brock Purdy up close, is he a Pro Bowl level QB in this league, or the luckiest SOB flash in the pan that might win a Super Bowl?

Why in God's name is down lineman assigned cover a tight end?
Kittle was initially on the line and pushed Gallimore out to the right of the line, then he saw Purdy scrambling and took off.

I give him credit for playing smart and his accuracy, but his "little engine that could" act is about to end in Philly.

He is Kurt Warner.

I haven't bothered to look at this year's FA list but the Cowboys should absolutely be in the market for another WR. A good one too. Not some scrub like James Washington.

It's starting to look like even with a discount, that Michael Gallup contract was a bad deal. His routes are sloppy and lazy as hell and he doesn't fight for balls unless they're the jump ball along the sideline variety. They can't just sit on their ass and assume that he'll get back to his old self another year removed from the ACL.

Also, RB will probably be on their shopping list as well. Even if they're able to work out a team friendly deal with Pollard, I think they'll draft one somewhere in the later rounds.

When was the last time this season that we scored 7 on our first possession?

Oh, so if he won yesterday and lost next week it would've been all good? And Dak is fine? Bullshit. The vultures on here are just circling waiting to pounce.

Yes, it would have obviously been pretty cathartic to get to a point we haven't gotten to in almost 30 years. Yes that's a different tier of evaluation.

My point is you are defending dak not winning in the division round by pointing out that all timers struggled to win super bowls. Those are two different things.

The Jones will not be doing their regular post mortem appearances on 105.3. Speculation is that mayhaps Kellen will get sacked. Or something of equal magnitude.

Nope, it's gonna be the same guys. Nobody's getting fired. This season is seen by management as a success.

The only hope is a switch flipped in McCarthy's head where he realizes he needs to impose more control over the offense, makes sure a more dynamic RB is brought in next to Pollard for next year, and they become a run first team that is built around protecting Dak, helping the dominant defense and minimizing his errors.

I'm not holding my breath though because I think McCarthy and the rest of them severely overrate Dak's ability.
