In the off-season nothing will happen. Business as usual. Payton will coach somewhere else and we are stuck with McCarthy. His stupidity to keep kellen Moore calling the plays should be his dismissal. Dak needs to go. He single-handedly gave this game away. Fuck this team.

Obviously we aren’t gonna just cut Dak, but San Fran has Purdy, Garropolo AND Lance. Why do we treat the QB position like the starter is the infallible Pope who can’t be challenged.

You already know the answer to that. The starters will never have true competition as long as Joan Rivers has a pulse.

So we have a QB that looked bad. An OC that is and has been out of his league and a CB who isn’t worth what his contract will be. This is all reactionary but I would listen to offers for Diggs. Roll into next year with Lewis, Bland, Brown, Wright and a draft pick or two.

hate how this team gets me to invest in it and then plays like garbage when it matters. Rooting for whoever comes out of the AFC now

We've been eliminated consecutive years by different QBs that arent the next Herbert, Allen or Burrow. Neither are the NFCC-host Eagles.

Their GM just doesn't treat their non-elite QB as elite.

I honestly honestly don't know if I can go on. Between this team and plus the eagles.

And this is why I was like this last week.

I just can’t get excited. I knew this ending was coming. And what did I have to look forward to if they somehow got lucky, maybe Parsons strip sacks Purdy for the win after the same abysmal Prescott performance?

An embarrassment against Philly the following week and the Eagles fans rub our face in it for a generation.

You can see it from a mile away. I’ve been watching football my whole life. This team is so decidedly AVERAGE way too much of the time, whether it’s under talented or just underachieving or both. And it was clearly the case yet again this year, they had wholesale trouble getting the ball downfield over and over as the season went on. There is no hope of this team going on a burner to end the year and win it all. It’s not capable of that kind of luck/run, and they are nowhere near talented enough on offense at ALL levels.

There is no hope. This team isn’t good enough to win. Mostly due to the QB, though to be fair, every team’s trajectory is mostly due to the QB in the NFL these days since it’s such a pass happy league.

but it's Burrow vs Mahomes next week (elite) plus Purdy vs Hurts (who might've been the MVP were it not for the injury). Dak has never sniffed an MVP award.

As many have said, he's mentally fragile. At 30 years old, there's nothing there that's going to change.

This is the worst part. I think he’s already breaking down, part of that is due to injury, but he’s never been good with mechanics, and now his reads are declining/getting slower too. And his arm has never been exceedingly accurate either.

I don’t see a player who is going to age gracefully here, not a savvy vet like Brady who will age like wine with his smarts despite declining physical gifts. I see a guy losing confidence in himself quick. I see Russell Wilson who is gonna fall apart quickly. I’d move on fast.

I can at least thank the lord that that Fred Warner pick six on 1st down didn't happen. FOX would've aired all sorts of meme-able shit that would get replayed over and over till the end of time.
