Tua doesn't have even close to the physical talent Allen has, though. Allen was almost the prototype of a very high ceiling prospect -- tons of physical ability but a late bloomer who had to play at a low level college program. Tua is small, has an average arm, and played at the best program in the country with tons of talent around him.I want to see what he looks like after he'd played half a season. I know a lot of people were trying to push him out the door after year 1, but that seemed premature.
Josh Allen didn't make his jump until year 3. Sometimes it pays to be patient with young QBs.
Which is why I never got the Tua hype.
