They’re gonna try to make us one dimensional.

This ought to help to pump the brakes on the overhyping of the defense.

There is no question that our defense is much much better than they were a year ago. But I thought some were getting carried away on how good they are.

Outside of the Buccaneers, they haven't really faced any explosive offenses plus we are running a new system and teams don't have a lot of tape on that yet. So I don't think we're gonna know what this defense truly is until week 10 or so.

With that being said, we don't need them to be dominant. We just need them to be competent and continue to force turnovers. If they do that then they will be more than adequate enough for us to make some sort of run.
