Tyron Smith's name and whoever was lined up against Tyron was never called. Non-existent. Just erased.

Gotta watch the game again and see just how Tyron silenced his opponent.

It was Hurts, dude.
Yeah, I'm guessing the holes will show more when teams have more film on our new scheme.

However, the turnovers thing is real and you can see it in how they attack the football both when it's in the air or when they go after a ball carrier.

They don't have a lot of elite talent so it's not likely that they'll be a dominate unit, but they don't necessarily have to be.

If they can be a repeat of the 2014 unit that was great at forcing turnovers and getting big stops at the right time, then I'll be happy with that and it will give this team a chance to make noise in the playoffs.

Eh look at the Rams defense. They are Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey and then a bunch of good but not great guys. If Parsons and Diggs keep playing like this you at least have two out right freaks.

Not saying we will be an elite defense this year but I think there is more talent there than some give credit. This is a really young defense with some really good young talent. And they are still learning this scheme. You'll see fewer busted coverages and blown assignments as the year goes on.

Cowboys defense shutdown Eagles offense long enough until the Cowboys offense stopped dicking around and closed the game out. Impressive.

There was that moment our offense slowed down in the 3rd quarter. Our defenses in the past might've let Eagles get quick points and 'oh no here we go again'. It didn't though as our defense forced a 3-n-out and next drive turnover-on-downs. Props, D

That was a very solid performance from Zeke tonight.

Zeke clearly isn't as fast as he was before, but he still has plenty of burst and he finishes his runs very strong.

He really laid into some guys at the end of runs tonight.

He's not going to be the guy he was from 2016-2018, but he's still a very useful player and his style right now is a perfect compliment to Pollard's.

Might have to put Osa in there also. So impressed with him and he looks better every week.

There's no denying those 2 guys are absolute studs and I've always liked D-Law.

But I don't think you can be an elite defense without an elite pass rusher and we just don't have that right now.

The most pleasant surprise is how good our interior defensive lineman have been. Like most, I wasn't a fan of how the team chose to address that area of the defense this past off-season but they've got some guys who look like players.

The run defense has been far far far better than I could have imagined it would be.

Yeah I think he was in on 2 sacks tonight. I think he shared that sack with Parsons and obviously the other sack. He also got a ton of pressure on some other plays. He is really playing at a high level. Just gets better every week.

Philly is a bad team offensively. As stated before, Hurts is just not a very good QB. He really has no progression game as far as what a pro should have. But that being said, our defense took advantage of that and made plays. Really (and probably prematurely) impressed with how they look. Our offense is always gonna be a threat to put up 30 plus, but we now have potential to beat some good teams.

Diggs looks all the world like a top 2 corner. Maybe you'd rather have Ramsey? I dunno. Diggs has the attitude and the skills. Parsons continues to amaze me. Wow. What a player he could become.

Anyway, good win. Fuck off philly.

I agree, I actually like what I saw from Zeke tonight. He was punishing guys and really getting yards out there. Best game he has had this season which is a good sign. He always starts the season slow so he may just be rounding into form now. And Pollard has played off him perfectly. A true 2 headed monster right now. And unlike other great running teams, we have a dynamic passing attack with Dak when we need it.

I sort of agree but I think the key is to get pressure from all over. When you have Parsons screaming off the edge and Osa getting in the backfield you can see that the potential is there. Throw Lawrence and Gregory into the mix and I think we could get there.

As an aside, Jalen Hurts doesn't strike me as, to borrow a phrase, a leader of men. Felt like he just kinda went through the motions and couldn't wait for the flight home.

Jalen Hurts had 9 carries, 35 yards. Playing with the lead much of the game, that's impressive for our defense. Felt like Hurts should've threatened us more scrambling.

After his pick 6 it looked like there was no fire left. I don't think Hurts is going to last long in this league as a starter. Eventually I think he will find a long career as a backup but if I were the Eagles I wouldn't view him as much more than a Tyrod Taylor short term starter.

Went to the game, was awesome.

Can't believe we ran the ball straight up their asses considering the strength of their team is the DL, even with Graham out, and specifically the DT's.

Somehow despite winning by 20 it still feels like the score was closer than the game actually was.
