That's good though. And man this defense is getting me excited. They are getting better every week. Granted Hurts sucks but love what we are doing.
I thought the Eagles would attack Jaylon Smith more and make him defend some run options. That's what I would have done....attack the weak link.

How nice was the way both of those DBs played that ball?

What a difference coaching makes.

I think that's why you might go for it there. You don't technically change the number of possessions they need to come back. Might as well go for it.

We've wanted a coach that doesn't play scared for a long time. Why bitch about it now?
DONT COACH SCARED!

It was my absolute biggest complaint about Garrett and Campo. They coached sacred, and it drove me nuts. Play for the fucking win, not the fucking tie.

Again, time and place.

Going for it there just doesn't make sense and the chances of the Eagles scoring 2 TDs and two 2-pt conversions are really slim.

Plus, kicking the FG and scoring is a win.

If you fail, not only do you not get any points, you also give them a big momentum building play.

Nah. If you fail they are backed up in their own end down 13 with less than a quarter left and Jaylon Hurts still their QB.

This is exactly the time and place you do it. You risk kicking the field goal yet still being up two scores vs either failing on 4th down and being up 2 scores or making it and essentially ending the game right then and there.
