We just keep winning!

I'd still be open to it, they are counting on a lot of youth at the position. But after the draft it's obvious they have no intentions on pursuing him.
Truth is we need more of a NT to work with Bohanna. I don't want to line up in a 3-4 base with a 300 or less pound dude trying to man the middle.I'd still be open to it, they are counting on a lot of youth at the position. But after the draft it's obvious they have no intentions on pursuing him.

Bonhanna is perfect for it but he is a sixth round rookie. He isn't used to going against strong 320 grown men every week.
Don't forget Watkins:It looks like the NT plan is Urban, with maybe Bohanna backing up and maybe even Gallimore in there if needed.
But at 3T unless I'm forgetting someone I don't think there's anyone with even a full year of playing time at the pro level.
I'm guessing 1T will be the bigger issue but I wouldn't mind seeing a veteran 3T in the mix. My guess is they see McCoy as a progress stopper.
Don't forget Watkins:
Watkins was deployed all over Houston’s interior defensive line, spending time at nose tackle (A-gap), defensive tackle (B-gap) and defensive end (C-gap) with the Texans.

I had forgotten him, too.I completely forgot Watkins.![]()
Easy to do. Most guards and centers probably do that as well.I completely forgot Watkins.![]()
I don't care how they used him, it was pretty obvious he wasn't effective wherever they lined him up. So I will forget him, thank you very much.Don't forget Watkins:

Yeah Urban is like 6'7" 300 pounds. That sounds like a terrible body type for a NT. But a great fit for 3-4 DE.It looks like the NT plan is Urban, with maybe Bohanna backing up and maybe even Gallimore in there if needed.

6'3" 300 pound scrub playing NT, also not ideal.I don't care how they used him, it was pretty obvious he wasn't effective wherever they lined him up. So I will forget him, thank you very much.
Did he seriously not know we drafted him?
Yeah if they stick him at nose, they are using him wrong. Fangio had him shaded or at 5-T a lot. That is why he was a good run stopper last year.Yeah Urban is like 6'7" 300 pounds. That sounds like a terrible body type for a NT. But a great fit for 3-4 DE.
between him and Ankou we are the home for unwanted Texan DTsI don't care how they used him, it was pretty obvious he wasn't effective wherever they lined him up. So I will forget him, thank you very much.
Yeah I mean if he is playing NT he isn't going to have any leverage against an NFL center or guard. Just seems like poor fit.Yeah if they stick him at nose, they are using him wrong. Fangio had him shaded or at 5-T a lot. That is why he was a good run stopper last year.
I worry we cut a better player because we sunk FA money in him. Seems like we only cut guys like Clinton-Dix when the price tag is higher. I think he is so dirt cheap they might keep him.Yeah I mean if he is playing NT he isn't going to have any leverage against an NFL center or guard. Just seems like poor fit.
And Watkins I'm hoping just gets cut. I'm expecting nothing from him. We've seen those caliber player signed before and they don't get a new deal when the Cowboys cut them. He is someone you can find on NFL teams practice squads
