It's amazing to me how happy this team is to just recycle guys on 1 year deals every free agency period (Basham is the only external who signed more than 1 year and he's just on for 2).

Its like hey guys, you realize free agency can be used to find impact players who you can build around here and there?

Every other fucking team does it.

They are tricking the system! Sign them cheap, get great play, reap benefits of comp picks! But yeah, we don't use free agency the way most teams do. We have progressively gotten worse at free agency it seems.

The funny thing is especially this year there were guys that were cut that signing wouldn't have affected our comp picks and we still didn't do it.

Here we go again with the Eagles trading up for a QB.

I hate how god damn aggressive they are and they always find Miami waiting with open arms to hand them their guy.

The Dolphins still make no sense to me. If you want Chase/Pitts shouldn't you wait and see if he your guy is even there. Or hey if you want one of a few guys maybe wait to see if one falls? Seems like there are 3 WR's that could all possibly go top 10. Why not wait and which ones don't? All very odd to me.

Who are the 49ers after at 3? They say they are keeping Jimmy G.
It's got to be for a QB, but they have to be ok with 2 different QBs. Obviously it's not going to be for Trevor Lawrence. But they must like at least two of that Fields, Wilson, Lance and Jones group. Who knows which two that would be. I'm guessing they would like a mobile guy to take that offense to the next level but who knows. Wilson, Fields and Lance are all very mobile guys. And Jones isn't but Shanny has done a lot with QB's who aren't mobile like Matt Ryan so who knows.

Wilson or Fields, obviously. You don't make this jump to take a wideout or right tackle.
It's going to be all about preference. I could see Lance in that group as well. Something tells me it's for Fields though. He has a lot of physical gifts, production at a top level and to me that's sort of the obvious guy. He checks a lot of the boxes for what they would want in my opinion.
