Not with a proven vet like Zuerlein.

But I was shocked that they decided to cut Forbath so soon. Especially since Forbath performed great for us at the end of last season. Maybe there were some "off the record" kicking competitions were going on between the two during shutdown.

I think it was mainly because of the need to trim roster size because of this covid bullshit. And also maybe to give Forbath plenty of time to try and find another team, considering they were probably about 99.99% sure Zuerlein would be the kicker coming out of a competition.

One thing I've noticed from some of these tackling drills is they look like they're being taught to wrap and roll their bodies through the tackle, which I think is very smart because if you just try to power through a ball carrier they can shrug you off, run through you or absorb the blow/maintain balance and then keep going.

If you wrap and roll your body you're impacting their balance with your body's momentum and slowing them down even further.
