Mike McCarthy saw Aaron Rodgers’ improvisation act for years in Green Bay. He’s working something similar with Dak Prescott in scripting situations during individual drills when plays break down. As the quarterback broke free from the pocket, receivers, tight ends and backs all worked to get in the QBs eye sight for passes. One of Prescott’s strengths is how he operates in off-script situations.

The Cowboys have said all along they will be a hybrid defense, using multiple fronts and schemes. Certainly evident in the way DeMarcus Lawrence lined up at times. Lawrence and DeMarcus Ware, the Cowboys’ all-time leader in sacks, planned to work on some two-point pass rush opportunities during the offseason but were unable to do so because of the pandemic.

That's part of the appeal with Diggs. He plays cornerback like a wide receiver and always things the ball is intended for him. A welcomed change in Dallas.

It would be truly amazing of he actually hits the ground running and is anywhere close to who he's been in the past.

Hard to believe, but if our DL plays p to its potential, we could have one of the DLs in the league. Craziness.

I know everyone is just as starved for updates and reports from camp as I am, so I'm trying to make sure I am online when the reports are set to come out at the end of practice.What a change, and so quickly.
