which way did he go, George?
Jesus.
Clint LongleyI think he ends up in the Stoerner category.
yet another barometer of the team's lack of testicular fortitude. Rudderless and gutless.
He should be riding the pine, what a fucking joke.
Jesus.
Brad Johnson.Clint Longley
That fucker won a super bowlBrad Johnson.
"Feeling for him"?
Jesus.
It shouldn't be this complicated. A LBer should have his fucking read. It's like some guys have no idea what they are supposed to read and are just trying to read everything and make a play. It shouldn't be that complicated."Feeling for him"?
I should think that a simple starting read for a LB would look at the offensive tackles blocking assignments. If they slide and retreat it’s usually a passing play. If they block by pushing left or right you read the direction of the blocking scheme. It shouldn't be this complicated. A LBer should have his fucking read. Most defenses I know have a defender with gap responsibility and one guy they are supposed to read. If you're asking players to read the line, read the RB, read the QB all at the same time you end up with a bunch of players being fooled by misdirection. Instead you need everyone starting with a simple read. Especially when you have a LBer like Jaylon Smith who doesn't appear to have a super high football IQ.I should think that a simple starting read for a LB would look at the offensive tackles blocking assignments. The LBers either have gap responsibility or player responsibility. If they have the MLB set as a spy, they have single player responsibility. They either spy a mobile QB, or spy a star RB. That's their only job on that play. If the have gap responsibility, they do get keys from the line, but they can't use those keys alone to read the play. A lot of times a line will block left, hell a guard may even pull left, but the play goes right as a matter of misdirection. If you key on the line alone, a lot of times you can easily be fooled. Most defenses I know have a defender with gap responsibility and one guy they are supposed to read. But hey, I'm not an NFL coach or anything. Just seems like there is way too much confusion on this defense and confusion comes from not knowing your responsibility.
Not sure that's really what he said. He just said that fundamentals appear to be a bigger issue. Fundamentals are a massive issue. Guys just aren't tackling, covering their gaps, covering their responsibilities. It's such a mess on defense and it's not just one thing. I guess you could say fundamentals are the biggest issue but effort is a part of that too. When players get lazy or aren't giving full effort than they will fail at their fundamentals too. If you're jogging to a gap to make a play, you're both sucking at effort and fundamentals.
She is and I didn't because we dated in high school and got married at 20, so not much opportunity. We also live in a very rural area. Just shy of banjo music territory. There was one black girl in the entire school system. I always thought Asians were good looking.Assuming your wife is white, you ever date non-white?
It's just nonsensical coach-speak. It's like a baseball manager saying they lost because they "didn't execute." Well no shit. Not sure that's really what he said. He just said that fundamentals appear to be a bigger issue.
Maybe I'll start a tally of people-of-color representation on commercials.
Wiki says Year 2017 racial breakup of the USA's 320M population is approx 70% white, 17% Latino, 13% black, 5% Asian.
Commercials is probably inverse statistically, but movies are probably more reflective of actual USA breakdown.
The Asian 5% doesn't count.Am I missing something or does that equal 105%?
I said 'approx'Am I missing something or does that equal 105%?
