Oh....Dak ended up having an open fracture (compound fracture). The bone poked out through the skin. That's a terrible fracture. Think any hope of a return this year is over.

I think the way IR works this year though they probably don't have to make that decision.

Cowboys are concerned about the injury to defensive tackle Trysten Hill

NFL: New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys
Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports
Obviously the big injury for the Dallas Cowboys in their win over the New York Giants was the compound fracture/dislocation to Dak Prescott’s ankle. This overshadowed almost everything else about the game like the Cowboys now being in first place, but also an injury to another Cowboys player.
Earlier in the game defensive tackle Trysten Hill came up lame after trying to hold up from hitting New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones after he had thrown the ball. It wasn’t apparent right away what happened but it turns out it is a knee injury.
The Cowboys are concerned about the severity of it.
McCarthy also expressed fear for defensive tackle Trysten Hill, calling Hill’s knee injury “serious.” The Cowboys announced Hill has a right knee sprain but will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent.
Hill has come back from a poor rookie season to win a starting spot at defensive tackle and has shown he is capable of being a player in this league. The Cowboys injuries are mounting, and we’ll have to see just how bad Hill’s injury turns out to be.

Just an observation. When Romo would get injured, I always felt like other fans and teams were kind of like "good." Such has not been the case with Dak. Good wishes are pouring in from across the league.

Romo came from a street FA to a Pro Bowl QB. He had a great story but he was always kind of hated. Hard to believe it's because he banged Jessica Simpson. Who wouldn't?

I do like Dak better as a QB but it's 1a 1b. They are both comparable excellent tier 2 QBs.

Romo has a terrific personality, look at how well he's doing as a commentator. Dak's more of a leader than a personality. But is' pretty clear Dak is more liked around the league than Romo ever was. It's strange.

Romo kind of exuded a bit of arrogance, maybe aloofness, that could rub people the wrong way. That (and yes, gettin all that fine pussy) made people hate him.

What’s the combined W-L record of the two teams we’ve beat this year?
