I think expecting much out of the guys - especially Gallimore - early is unfair. They are late round rookies who need a lot of work and got a abbreviated at best offseason. Gallimore needs to get bigger and stronger.

I'm not really sure what your point is. When we drafted Gallimore and Robinson the expectation was they would need time to develop.

I hate it too.

But I hate the rationalization about it even more.

There really are people who say this is a good move for insurance because if Smith goes down again, they only have to replace one guy into of disrupt with two moves.

They need to get a long term solution there since we already know Collins is done.

Play the better player there and go. There are 12 games to go after this. They need stability.
