Anyone realize that with the two tackles we had playing, Dak was sacked just once? That's impressive I'd say.
It was impressive and a major step forward for Dak.

Outside of the playoff win vs. Seattle in what was kind of an off-year for them and that win vs New Orleans, Dak and the Cowboys in general have been crap against the best teams in the NFL the last five years.

We need to show the same determination against the best teams. Beat Seattle in Seattle and the season is officially on.

Ravens, 49ers, Steelers, Vikings, and of course Seattle. Cut a swath through those teams while treating each like a playoff game and I won’t be able to stop homering out, especially those first two.

Despite the many struggles and bad decisions that have been mentioned numerous times already, I was impressed that they were able to hang in there and pull out a win while missing so many key players.

So I'll give McCarthy high marks in that category. Aside from that 2015 season, the Cowboys enjoyed an incredibly good run of health during the Garrett era. However in 2020 they lost one of their starting DTs (McCoy), 2 of their top 4 LBs, their top 3 OTs, their NB, and their starting TE, yet they still found a way to win the game.

Hard to imagine Garrett pulling out a victory under those circumstances.

And it's why despite a few calls that I disagree with I still believe they'll fair better against the best teams in the league. Especially once we start getting some of those missing players back.

This stadium and environment does not scream Raiders.

They are supposed to play in a toilet.

Unless injuries start attacking them, the Saints are the best equipped to claim the conference title in the NFC.

And it really ain't close.

I like the Vegas stadium more than the LA stadium.

If they get Thomas back in the next week or 2 and he last's the season then I agree

Brees' arm strength has really fallen off. That may be their Achilles heel.

I don't see how that matters. They are not set up with arm strength as an issue.

They know what he can do. They mold it.

We'll see later in the year as the season wears on. I think we'll see fewer throws out on the edge and 20+ yards down field.
