I don't expect the Cowboys coaches to throw him under the bus, but how the hell can you say with the straight face that you're satisfied with Smith's play?

If they truly believe that, it explains a hell of a whole lot about why this season has gone as it has.

This stuff is egregious. I get defending him in public but at some point guys need to be held accountable for poor play.

Even if the LBs behind him aren't much better, you at least have to bench him to send a message and reinforce the standard.
