Of course they are, your run defense can't be this bad without freelancing. If guys just follow their assignments and make tackles you aren't giving up 300 yards on the ground.

I don't agree that it will screw up the cap for the future. Contracts like Lawrence and Jaylon Smith are what screw uo the cap. Not some one year deal for 5 -10 mil with incentives.
For the record we have 24 mil in cap space right now. So I don't want to hear about a 1 year prove it deal killing then cap. That's nothing but an excuse. Talk to me about Crawfords contract killing the cap before this shit.
Now I don't know if a Snacks or Earl Thomas makes a huge difference but you can't tell me they wouldn't help.

Right now he's eating mostly against teams 3rd best CB. I'm kind of interested in seeing how he holds up against a CB1 or CB2 over the course of a full game, but that would mean someone in front of him on the depth chart got hurt.....so no thank you.

Yeah he is a bad ass for a slot receiver. But when Gallup and Cooper are on the outside the defense can't really focus on the slot guy. If they do Gallup will torch them deep or Cooper will destroy guys with his route running.
