:lol

Haley knocked off that faggy little helmet shell Steve Wallace wore.
How the fuck can you stomach watching that game. Even seeing our derivative Color Rush jerseys today get me angry cuz it reminds me of this game.

we lost Jimmy, then free agency hit and the Niners went on a shopping spree and closed the gap. this was the very definition of a "bought" championship.

Ken Norton

Goddamn it I loved Norton. The one fucking team he had to go to in those days. The one fucking team.

It also pissed me off with how that 49ers team was a glutton of past prime players - Tim Harris, Richard Dent and Rickey Jackson

They also made a great pick in that draft with Bryant Young. That guy was very good.

Irvin was such a beast in this game though. Harper was fricking invisible.

...and Merton Hanks. Hated him

More than Brandon Jacobs, Jeremy Shockey, McNabb. Maybe not as much as DeAngelo Hall, though.

I guess over time I forgot how handicapped the Cowboys were going into that game. Emmitt Smith had his hamstring issue. Larry Allen could barely walk and he was filling in for Erik Williams. Aikman took a shit ton of hits. That slop on the field pretty much negated our pass rush.

yeah, Emmitt gutted it out but left at some point. I wasn't even mad when Bozo da Coach drew the personal foul penalty. that non-call was bullshit. valiant comeback attempt, but we dug ourselves too deep of a hole.

The bad part about that whole flag on Deion thing is that they called the exact same thing on Larry Brown earlier in the game. Switzer didn't help things much but I can't blame him. It was bullshit.

This game is misinterpreted by dumb ass Cowboys fans just as much as the loss to the Giants in the Divisional Round.

It is like they want to think that a win was inevitable had one thing happened. But they forget the other stupid miscues that caused the situation to come back even necessary to begin with.

We didn’t beat the 49ers during the 1994 regular season either.

I didn't see us getting past them in the playoffs.
Then they pummeled us with the immortal Elvis Grbac in '95. We were fortunate that GB knocked them off for us.

1994 NFC Championship Game is now on Fox.

21-7 Niners. I wonder if the Cowboys can come back and win.
Still the most difficult loss to take in all my life as a Cowboys fan.

If I could change any game, it's that one.

Still, I was proud of how they battled back. But an Emmitt Smith at 50% and Switzer coaching put them at too much of a disadvantage.

Yet, if the if the refs call that blatant PI on Sanders, I have no doubt that we score and the 49ers butt cheeks would've gotten tighter than a MF'er.

Will never forgive Jerry Jones for 1994.

I’d rather get a root canal than watch that game.
Yeah, I have no desire to rewatch it and have never done so despite multiple chances to do so.

That one just hurts too much.

But down at 31-14 at halftime, I don't get how people still recall a romantic comeback that was just ruined by a Deion Sanders interference call. There was a lot more to that game.
What makes you say that?

Oh.

:lol

Yes, it wasn't just about that one play, but despite ALL that had gone wrong that day, there Dallas was in a position to get a stop and win.

We were in the 49ers heads still at that time. We were the one team they still weren't the most confident against. So if the refs call that penalty and the Cowboys score, that very next drive for the 49ers would have been very interesting.

And just like we had been in their heads the year before, they were in ours by this point.

We were very fortunate to gain homefield that year.
