In the last 10 years our highest has been a fourth. But not sure before that. I feel like they didn't used to give out third round comp picks but I could be wrong on that. Just nice that the system may work for us for once.

I don't agree with Meredith being above Romo. But it is arguable, I guess.
But having Morton above him? Makes the whole list lose credibility.

I think I'd put Romo third.
He had some talented teams but he also had some bad hands. And it's not like Danny White's teams were garbage. They were loaded too.
Also it was just a different era. I think Romo was just pound for pound a better player than most of the rest just due to the era he's in.

Yeah I looked back and ten years seems to be as far as the records go, but I'm like 99% sure we got a third at least one time. I remember it... I think it was one of the years we had traded away a first... or another high pick.... I have this recollection of Jerry or Stephen or someone saying in an article "Our draft just got a real shot in the arm because of this extra third rounder" or something like that. I'm paraphrasing.
