Hellz yeah, Bease!
Beasley was never utilized to his talent level in Dallas and the reason is simple. Garrett’s offenses didn’t recognize talent rather the schemes dictated how the players were utilized. Garrett’s schemes were never changing and everyone in the universe knew how they worked. Beasley is talented and he can be versatile but Garret’s offense didn’t vary so Beasley was always left with a minority role and used primarily in clutch situations.

He's also 9th among TE's in receiving yards with most of the guys in front of him being elite types (Kelce, Waller) or very high picks (Hockenson, Henry, Engram). The only under the radar journeyman type in the group is Tonyan who has the benefit of Rodgers and a generally very dynamic offense.

Had Prescott not gotten hurt I think he'd almost certainly be top 5 among TE's in receiving yards.

So if you’re MM, which one is your primary, your starter?
Eh, I use both of them. If one of them gets hotter than the other I stick with them more. I still wouldn't run much 2 TE stuff because neither guy is a great blocker but I feel a hell of a lot better about Jarwin flexed out than I ever did about Witten lining up in a passing situation. I feel really good about the offense next year if the O-line can get healthy. Hell Pollard even makes me feel really good about some of his runs.

The defense though, just very little to feel good about. Hell they only gave up 7 to the Bengals and in the end I feel like they just got lucky with all those Bengals fumbles.

It's not even close.

Jarwin:
2018 / 2019
2730711.43
3136511.83

Schultz 2020:
5151010.03

And oh by the way, Jarwin played 2018 without Witten so that excuse doesn't hold up. And of course 2020 isn't finished yet so Dalton will likely separate himself further.

And Jarwin played with Dak whereas Schultz has been dealing with mediocre and below QBs much of the season.

It ain't close.

Jarwin had one or two flashes but he's never ever shown to be the player Schultz has been this season.

They'd be morons to give Jarwin that job next year.

I do think Jarwin has his usefulness here and there because he can stretch the field more than a typical TE, but he should absolutely be a backup.

Although, depending on how his contract reads I'd be tempted to make Jarwin a cap casualty. If I recall he was signed for essentially middle of the pack starter money and he's clearly very expendable.
