worst coach everLook no further than Chaz Green for the microcosm of Garrett’s inability to adjust to a plan gone horribly wrong
Most telling in that Atlanta game was that no assistant stepped up to challenge what was obviously a fucked strategy.worst coach ever
It showed me the collective failure of the entire group. Pollack, for stubbornly thinking his failed project could play. Linehan, for being incapable if making a scheme adjustment during the game, and Garrett most of all, for being incapable of demanding that his assistants make those changes. Most telling in that Atlanta game was that no assistant stepped up to challenge what was obviously a fucked strategy.
I don't know that we really need him anymore. At this point it's more about the league and the bullshit they pull.I know I'm in the minority but I honestly don't care if Gregory ever plays football again. I've gotten used to not having him around.
But the point is, these types of fuck ups aren't supposed to result in suspensions any more. So isn't this a really easy decision? For the amount of jawing Gregory's doing on Twitter, he better not have fucked up again.
Same. I don't think the league is out to get him. I think he's a bigger disaster behind the scenes than we know.I know I'm in the minority but I honestly don't care if Gregory ever plays football again. I've gotten used to not having him around.
there seems to be alot of faith in Aldon Smith being his former self. We havent seen shit, I hesitate to think he's gonna unleash a reign of terror on opposing offensive tacklesSame. I don't think the league is out to get him. I think he's a bigger disaster behind the scenes than we know.
Griffen and Aldon Smith make him a non-factor anyway.
I don't think we need him. But if he were able to come in and contribute, it would be a nice boost. He and the team should be afforded the opportunity to find out, considering the way league rules are now. If the league is dragging their feet and fucking him over because of only past failed marijuana tests, while reinstating others with the same and worse transgressions, something is definitely wrong.I know I'm in the minority but I honestly don't care if Gregory ever plays football again. I've gotten used to not having him around.
I'm sure there were other conditions besides "don't flunk a drug test."But the point is, these types of fuck ups aren't supposed to result in suspensions any more. So isn't this a really easy decision?
I don't think he'll be as good as he was at his peak, either.there seems to be alot of faith in Aldon Smith being his former self. We havent seen shit, I hesitate to think he's gonna unleash a reign of terror on opposing offensive tackles
Shouldn't any conditions change or go away when the rules change?I'm sure there were other conditions besides "don't flunk a drug test."
Same here, I'm just glad the team is now planning as if he isn't going to be around and treating him as a luxury, rather than banking on his presence as they've done in years past.I know I'm in the minority but I honestly don't care if Gregory ever plays football again. I've gotten used to not having him around.
Obviously they are still applying old rules for him. But it's kind of bullshit. Imagine if weed was fully legalized everywhere. But a guy was charged before the law changed. Would it make any sense to throw that guy in jail even though what he did is no longer a crime? Of course not. That's essentially what they are doing to Gregory right now.Shouldn't any conditions change or go away when the rules change?
Good lord. I was wrong. It's time. RIP Lee's career. Time to move on.
Well, that should just about do it for his career.
