I do not agree that Dak would be criticized for that placement. That placement was not great but way better than the placement Dak often gets criticized for, which requires receivers to contort their bodies or stop their motion. Neither really happened on that Crayton pass, it was just a little low.

Still, at the same time, Romo was not good in that game and it lent to his history of choking in the playoffs, and was one of the reasons why I advocated for Leinart/Quinn to push Romo.

I agree. I don't think Dak or anyone else would be criticized for that throw. It wasn't great but it was good enough.

I also agree Romo wasn't great but to be fair that Giant defense was really good. Brady wasn't great against them either with one of the greatest offenses in history.

I think Romo was still battling the thumb injury, and TO came into the game banged up as well. But they still should've won.

I think the stats will disagree with you. They say he came from behind in 1/3 rd of all the games he played to win.

Edit. I see you were only referencing playoff games.

Romo started to get in a groove late in that game just as the drops and penalties struck.

The Cowboys counted on Owens to be dominant that season to open up the passing game and hugely struggled after his ankle injury.

An injured and rusty Glenn, Hurd, and Crayton were poor complements to Owens even when healthy (Glenn never even played with a healthy Owens) and the Cowboys were a lot easier to defend.

With Gurode injured the interior pass rush really suffered and took Dallas out of their second half game plan to open things up as the Giants stepped up the pass rush.

Proof of the increased pass rush:

Play that game 10 times and the Cowboys win 7, maybe even 8, especially if both teams are theoretically at full health. That particular game was just the perfect storm of bullshit converging at once that allowed the Giants to eek it out.

Go fuck yourself. It's a sport not activism. I'm fucking tired of everyone being expected to say something. Do whatever you want and say whatever you want on your own time. That's your fucking right. But stop fucking expecting everyone to say something or agree with you.

In short go fuck yourself you fucking shitbag.

It's the same thing happening on social media. Whites who are "silent," and continue posting food porn and family pics are "part of the problem."

It's the old "if you're not with us you're against us," routine.

2nd Amendment FTW.

People are afraid to talk because if you say the wrong thing your life could be ruined. I wouldn't say anything either. You have to pick your words very carefully.

Which of course W. was heavily criticized for when he said it about terrorism.

Really good point, c-rock.

The arrogant assholes who immediately cast stones at those with different points of view are "part of the problem".

In America, you should not be afraid to fairly and intelligently speak your mind when you have no intent of malice.

And who in the Hell is looking to Jerry Jones of all people for leadership in issues of racial equality?

These are god-damned football coaches and owners. On the national stage WGAS what they say?

I mean that's the problem. No one can have an open and honest discussion because if your opinion and beliefs doesn't perfectly align with the current movement your career, livelihood and everything else can be taken away from you. But I agree that's a big part of the problem. You'll never change people's minds and enlighten them if they don't feel comfortable to have that discussion without fears of serious repercussions.

I feel the same way about celebrities offering their political views.
