Goddammit.
Meanwhile Dallas twiddles their thumbs but how much draft capital is really left unless you start trading picks beyond next year?

Wonder what that price is.
A fourth.

Some dumbasses will say "oh, he's a rental" and that the price is too high.

So would you take Clinton-Dix with the chance to sign him for:

Dorance Armstrong?
Dalton Schultz?
Ryan Switzer?
Charles Tapper?
Damien Wilson?
Anthony Hitchens?
B.W. Webb?

About the only pick that was worth "the value" was Prescott.

Yeah I mean if we beat there offer you're looking at a fourth for sure plus something else probably. Then we really would have no picks left and a safety needing a new deal after this season. So the Cooper trade sort of ham strung us from getting in on all these deals.

Yeah, and he's 25.

And we could cut Deonte Thompson and recoup that fourth.

I don't think we would have been in on any of these deals even if the Cooper deal never happened. They have an aversion to veteran players and seem to think hoarding youth is the way to go.

I feel the same way about the trade market as I do the FA market: Sometimes it pays to jump in both feet first and sometimes it comes back to bite you in the ass. The same holds true when it comes to standing pat and waiting for the markets to set the price. This year Dallas set the trade market with the Cooper trade.

Youth and "potential".

I would probably hesitate with Armstrong and thats because of Lawrence contract situation and lack of/slow development of Charlton. Even with that I would probably do that to win today.

Apparently Ty Montgomery was told to kneel that last kick return and took it on himself to bring it out(and fumble :lol) so now he has been traded to the Ravens for a 2020 7th
