It's funny I hear fans bitching about ties all of the time on the radio. And the announcers always mention that it's not really a "problem" because so few games end in a tie. So the NFL's reaction to that is to create more ties? It's like they heard the fans and decided to make it worse.Just read an article that stated the tie rate could go from 6% to almost 20% in games that go to OT. Great move, NFL.
WowJohn Clayton out at ESPN now.
He is on Sirius with Kirwan a good bit. Sad to hear for Beaker.Wow, hadn't seen him much lately anyway though.
Straight up for ex-Jet ILB Demario Davis.Calvin Pryor III is traded to the Browns
He can't cover.Prior was a highly regarded safety coming out. Guess he has busted so far?
Yeah he isn't very good in run support and he doesn't make nearly enough plays against the pass to justify that. Maybe a change of scenery will help him but I doubt it would be with the Browns. He can't cover.
I just kind of wish we'd have taken a flier on this guy. Low risk moveYeah he isn't very good in run support and he doesn't make nearly enough plays against the pass to justify that. Maybe a change of scenery will help him but I doubt it would be with the Browns.
They claim it's a safety issue but yet they continue to make them all played Thursday night games which is far more detrimental to their health than the occasional overtime game.I really wish they would stop fixing shit that isn't broken.
For safety reasons, instead of playing the game maybe they should just declare the coin toss winner the winner of the game.
If NFLN is smart, they'd pick him and Ed werder up and put them in place of bums like LaConfora.John Clayton out at ESPN now.
He was let go at the same time most everyone else was... just didn't say anything.Wow, hadn't seen him much lately anyway though.
