Is this the Will Fuller thing all over again? Don't like the guy as a first rounder so all of a sudden he's undraftable?

Who said anything about him being undraftable? Don't put words in my mouth like everyone did with the Fuller thing. Just stop it.

Charlton is a left end in a 4-3 and probably never a consistent 10-sack guy. There are worse things in the world, though, than to get a Greg Ellis type solid player at the end of the first round, especially when you have at least one player (DeMarcus Lawrence) and possibly a second (Randy Gregory) capable of being 10-sack guys on the right side, if they ever get their acts together. We need ends.... and since Lawrence (and Irving, and Crawford) can play left end, I would PREFER to get a stud right end. But there is more than one way to skin that cat.

Charlton is a smoother looking athlete than Ellis was. Charlton is a near 280 pound guy who looks more like a 260 pound guy. He is long like Ellis was but he is a way more lean looking guy.

Maybe, but people are trying to project him to S because they don't think he was handle coverage at CB at the next level. He lacks long speed, so it's not a stretch to think he might end up being a STer for some team. Nothing against the guy, but I just wouldn't take the risk in the third.

He is also an extremely sound tackler and isn't afraid to hit. He has a bit of a RB mentality when it comes to physical play. It's why if he can't make it at corner he is being projected to safety. But guys like Richard Sherman weren't any faster than King.

That's fair enough. And, he very well could be worth a third. Personally, I wouldn't take the risk. Especially in a draft so deep and one in which we are limited on picks to being with.

Yeah I'm a big King fan. Thorpe winner with like 14 career ints in college but even I would say it depends on who is left on my board in the third. To me King belongs in the third round. So I wouldn't be overwhelmed with excitement to get the guy in the round that I expect him to go. If we got him in the fourth I'd be thrilled. If we got him in the second I'd be disappointed. If we get him in the third, I'd say it's solid.
