The father of Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has been sentenced to 10 days in jail for reckless driving on Interstate 64 during this year's Redskins training camp.

Robert Griffin Jr. was sentenced to 60 days in jail, with 50 days suspended, according to documents filed in the Hampton General District Court.

The Newport News Daily Press first reported the charges. Griffin was reportedly driving 115 miles per hour at 6:15 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2, according to the newspaper.

Griffin Jr. pleaded not guilty, but was found guilty by the court on Wednesday.

Unless you are the Baltimore Ravens with Trent Dilfer it's nearly impossible to be a great team with a horrible QB.

That defense was insanely good, but the offense had some great players too in Sharpe, Ogden, and Jamal Lewis. All Dilfer had to do was make an occasional play. When your D and running game give you so many opportunities it's hard to lose.

Just look at Russell Wilson's 2014-15 NFC Championship game performance for proof of that. 4 picks just didn't matter. Unreal.
