Toomey said he voted for Trump an hour before polls closed. That dude is shady as hell.
Yes, I was disappointed by that.
Toomey said he voted for Trump an hour before polls closed. That dude is shady as hell.
So did Trump before being elected. You seem to think that just dropping the word Lobbyist is an automatic scandal.
Well it isn't so both of you think alike. So did Trump before being elected.
That isn't the only reason I believe he is shady as hell.
Can you really blame the guy?
It's worse. Trumps a moron. I hope there are protesters outside the White House for all 4 years. So, Trump has installed Breitbart guy Steve Bannon as his chief strategist.
That's like Hillary tabbing some guy from Huffington Post.
breibart.com is way worse than the Huffington Post. So, Trump has installed Breitbart guy Steve Bannon as his chief strategist.
That's like Hillary tabbing some guy from Huffington Post.
I think the future if the DNC is a strong move left. They killed themselves by trying to run a moderate.Bernie is endorsing Keith Ellison for DNC chair, the same guy who just recently says he doesn't fault the Democrats for a losing strategy. He also claims that Trump won because of the "poison" he threw on Hillary.
You'd think the Dems would get a little introspective, but perhaps not. More Lena Dunham and Miley Cyrus, and you will like it.
They killed themselves by nominating a very dislikable, shady criminal. Moderate wasn't the problem.I think the future if the DNC is a strong move left. They killed themselves by trying to run a moderate.
Look to see shit like a single payer healthcare system and a basic universal income as part of the new party doctrine.
Exactly. They killed themselves by nominating a very dislikable, shady criminal. Moderate wasn't the problem.
Precisely why I said I would vote for anyone but her.Exactly.
It was. Bernie didn't capture the imagination of young millenials with his raw charisma. His policy stances were further left of Hillary, than Hillary's policies were of Republicans. They killed themselves by nominating a very dislikable, shady criminal. Moderate wasn't the problem.
Bernie captured the imagination of young millenials because he was an honest and believable person. I don't believe Bernie's Socialist beliefs ever actually would have won but it was the honest down to earth personality of the guy that won people's hearts. When Bernie talked about black people, he actually sounded like he cared. When Hillary talked about black people, it sounded like she was reading note cards that someone wrote for her and she didn't give two shits. It was. Bernie didn't capture the imagination of young millenials with his raw charisma. His policy stances were further left of Hillary, than Hillary's policies were of Republicans.
They didn't turnout. Republicans win.
Election post mortems are kind of a Rorschach test. Everyone thinks the candidate lost because of a failure to get behind his own favorite issues. It was. They didn't turnout. Republicans win.
But if that was the case wouldn't Trump have had significantly more votes in Wisconsin than Romney?Election post mortems are kind of a Rorschach test. Everyone thinks the candidate lost because of a failure to get behind his own favorite issues.
For example, I am inclined to think that average small-town Wisconsin voter got fed up with a combination of jobs heading overseas and having the Lenas and Mileys of the world claim they are bigots for being uncomfortable with issues President Obama himself wasn't comfortable with himself just about five years ago.
I'll agree in principle that Bernie's sincerity struck a cord with millenials. But I'd say career moderates like Clinton get reputations as being insincere because they spend their lives trying to appeal to multiple contrasting political interests.Bernie captured the imagination of young millenials because he was an honest and believable person. I don't believe Bernie's Socialist beliefs ever actually would have won but it was the honest down to earth personality of the guy that won people's hearts. If I had to pick one term to describe Bernie it would be sincere. I think his policies would be horribly destructive to our economy but the guy is very sincere.
It would help to know how many people flipped from 2012, how many didn't vote in 2012, etc.But if that was the case wouldn't Trump have had significantly more votes in Wisconsin than Romney?
In 2012 Romney had 1407000, Trump got 1409000.
Meanwhile Hillary got about 300,000 less votes than Obama. That sounds like an issue of turnout more than butthurt people from small towns.
Why'd they nominate her? Because she was a moderate. They killed themselves by nominating a very dislikable, shady criminal. Moderate wasn't the problem.
