I see the misers running the Reds failed to make a serious offer to the hometown power bat that could have made them serious playoff contenders.

Only way this trade would have been acceptable was if the Rangers could have kept him.

@Genghis Khan

I see you get to enjoy El Bombi for a year. He swears that he will hit 50 so maybe you will get that year from him. One thing for sure is that you wont lose to Houston. He loves to feast on the Asstros.

All joking aside. Very good defense and can go on runs if he is hot.

What's so surprising about me missing him, Geng?

I don't follow him closely so I don't really know but it doesn't seem like he's been good the past couple years. I thought you'd be happy to move on.
He has had a drop-off from 23 but the whole team has. I believe we lost our hitting coach and the new guy was tinkering with stuff. I just find it odd that you had major dropouts from everybody except Seager to not be influenced by something other than decline.

Take Josh Jung for example. He dropped to the point of being demoted to AAA and now on a threat of being traded if he doesnt perform. The new manager said in a press conference regarding Jung that "he wasnt going to try to make him do things different". Something was happening behind the curtains so could be the reason Adolis was in a state of decline.

Anyways you only have him for a year at not too bad of a price (if he provides the power) and probably a motivated Garcia to boot.

I enjoyed his time with Texas and the only sports jersey that I've bought in the past 15 years.
