Yeah. But then it becomes whether or not you have emotional investments in the players to continue watching. Campo years were a train wreck but I still watched.
And that’s why Jerry doesn’t care. He knows that people will still go to games, still buy merchandise, still watch them on TV, and that advertisers and sponsors will still line up no matter what happens.

He fired Sham for two years so I don't think dumping her is impossible.
Sham worked Dallas media. Jane is national media and I really don't think Jerry has the pull anymore to reach that far. He could probably make it more difficult as far as access but that would easily be seen through.

There is slowly growing a part of me that would enjoy watching these fools during a complete collapse of a season.
I went through that in 2015. I totally admit it. I wanted them to crash and burn as badly as possible to get Garrett's orange ass out of there.

But of course it didn't work. Stephen went on with his stupid grinning "What me worry" attitude in interviews, they got high draft picks, and the next year everyone was going crazy for rookie Dak and Zeke.

Yeah, she ain't exactly Tim MacMahon. Fans would practically riot if he got her shipped out.

Yeah, it's kind of sad. This is the least excited I have been for the draft in awhile and it's because this offseason has been so awful that the draft almost feels a little meaningless and empty. But you're probably right, even if we totally crash and burn they probably won't change much. McCarthy will go. They will still do everything else about the same. We won't sign or add anyone of significance We will just ho hum along with a new coach all will be well.

That's the funny part. Brags about knowing where the cap is going. Then claims he doesn't know how much cap space they will have. Um, pretty sure if you know where the cap is going, you know exactly how much cap space you will have next year. OK, so maybe within a pretty small margin because of performance bonuses and such. But seriously, the guy spins in circles contradicting himself the entire time. Jerry thinks an awful lot of himself but really does nothing.

He's so full of shit. Somehow every other team in the league isn't paralyzed by this.

Seriously. Does he think we're stupid?

I still don't understand what's going on. As misguided and football stupid as he is, Jerry -- I think -- did want to win (with him in charge, etc. of course). But this is like they're just punting on the season altogether. I have no idea what they're thinking.

Unless Goof Son is really in charge now and this is all his cheap ass at work?

I really don't get this at all. I'm normally on the optimistic side of things, but if they don't give a shit, why should I?

The sad thing is punting and rebuilding is totally fine. But we aren't doing that either. It's like we have decided to just take a year long nap because we are tired of working. Like if you want to punt on this year ok, then trade dudes for future assets. Set things up so that next year or the year after you can make a real push. But instead it's like, "I'm tired boss, I'll just cruise on my yacht for a year and pretend like nothing is happening"

That's really what irritates me the most. They're painting the picture of a total rebuild for next year (new HC, and new QB) but aren't doing anything to position themselves to hit the ground running. If they had any strategic vision (which they don't), then they'd focus on trading Dak to stockpile assets for 2025 and 2026.

I know it has been said so many times but they really are the laziest front office in the NFL. Jerry loves to talk like he works on these things 24 hours a day. But it's the complete opposite. Him and Stephen don't do shit unless someone else comes to them and wants a trade, contract or whatever. I honestly think the only way we sign a free agent is if his agent contacts the Cowboys to see if they are interested.

Yes, yes he does.
The average Cowboys fan is that gullible though. That is how the sideshow barker can make a living. Identify the suckers and shovel shit in their face until they choke on it and give up.

Amon-Ra just got 120 over 4 with 77 guaranteed.

Not sure that Lamb is much if any better than him

Listen, we are waiting for Justin Jefferson. We can't be going and getting a deal done with Lamb until we see what Justin Jefferson gets...
