Six starters gone and all but maybe two do not have a viable replacement under contract. This year’s FA period makes the previous five years look like we were on a spending jag.

It definitely feels like we are being cheaper than normal this year. It's reaching insane levels.

Yeah, this is beyond the pale. What in the wide world of sports is actually going on here?

@Rev You say the Fan is being pretty harsh on them? I hope so. Though I'm sure they turtle up if they actually have someone from the team on.

I think they have a firm understanding that since they draft so darn well, they will have the highest paid QB, the highest paid WR and the highest paid Edge by next year....yes, their assholes are completely puckered shut.

I also believe that they truly have brokered some pretty team-friendly deals in the past but the gig is up now.

Goof Son simply cannot negotiate for shit and his sense of timing sucks.

And all the agents worth their salt know it. They can smell it like dogshit.

That is not necessary for you to know.

All that you need to know is this:

Why are so many media types defense laden shills for the team?

It was reported that the Cowboys wanted him back. Yet Mosher is suggesting that they intentionally let him go. Laughable take.

Also, the issue isn't even them letting Hankins, Biadasz, Tyron, Pollard, or whoever else go.

The issue is letting them go AND making zero effort to replace them.

That's the problem. You have to add players unless you're counting on a lot of undrafted guys to make the roster. Which os really scary considering most of those guys aren't any good. I mean right now when teams make cuts you're going to have to pick them all up.

The last few days has really told the tale.

The landscape with available FAs is gone and they are waiting for some cuts, maybe even at the final cuts.

Here is what is left at our positions of need:

Turn out the lights, the party's over.

Now the Joneses are rooting out the floozies who stagger out the back exit and identifying the loose desperate ones who might have a glass eye and a peg leg.

You see, there is only so much pie.

I don't think they're actually trying to win this year honestly. I wouldn't be surprised if this was some weird form of punishment for McCarthy (because they were too damn cheap to fire him) and Prescott who they hope to strongarm into a lesser deal.

Truly the dumbest mother fuckers imaginable.

That plan is not dumb. It is demented to the point that you question if this is even reality anymore.
