In terms of day 3 I'd put Dak, Ferguson, Bland, Schultz, Armstrong, Biadasz, Anthony Brown, Pollard, Donovan Wilson, and Cedrick Wilson up against anything any other team in the league has done over the last decade.

That's basically finding a borderline Pro Bowler every other year on day 3 with several decent starters mixed in.

The problem is the 2nd round when they go off the reservation.
Sir, it is Boozestrong, thank you.

I want to say you can't judge a draft after only one year. But yeah, last year feels like a mess regardless. But that hasn't been the normal.

And margins are thin on the draft. If Mazi wasn't a miss and Overshown didn't get hurt, it would have probably looked like a good draft.
One complete whiff of a draft costs people jobs in most places.

This is a perfect script for what the Cowboys have done several times. Injured player that they think will be a ”steal”? Check. Operated on by the team doctor? Double check.

Our team doctor operates on a lot of players that aren't Cowboys. Especially one in Texas. The surgery is one thing, I'm just not a huge fan of the player.

The choice would be retarded. Even in a best case scenario, he is not available until October.
I mean 9 months puts him ready in August. But I won't pretend to know anything specific about the injury. Our team doctors does though "Jerry wink"

Robinson is more of a 3-4 end, no?
He is a complete end. But no, not really. Probably more a LE type you'd want opposite a Parsons. He doesn't have to run around guys to get pressure but he certainly isn't a two gap 3-4 DE.

Probably not going to be able to trade back for Robinson. Seeing him in the 27-30 range in mocks already. He is rising pretty fast after Senior Bowl.

I'd take J Newton at 24. I don't feel Osa is the type we give a second contract to.

I don't think you move to target a guy like him. If you trade back it's because you like Robinson along with a few other names and know you'll get one of them.

If you take him at 24, it's because your board got wiped out and he is the top guy left. I don't think Dallas needs to force a DE pick in this draft. Not in the first.
