The difference is, back then it was comedy, a clown show, because a man dressing like that is so ridiculous. Now it's sold as a perfectly acceptable and even desirable way to live your life.

I also don't see any young kids there. That's the real problem people have with it. Adults can do what they want for the most part, but sexualizing kids is just wrong. Surprised anyone defends it.

I agree, I have no problem with a drag show for example. Now a drag show for kids, that's what I object to.

Oh agree with that too. Drag shows have been around forever and I never found them offensive. But it used to be something considered adult entertainment. It's scary to see how some kids talk and think these days. Maybe I'm losing it but dear lord the things a 10 year old girl will say in a text message or on a snap chat. Like what the fuck.
