I don't mind an extension if the goal is to go all in. If the goal is to fart around, not spend the cap room on a significant player and be content with another playoff exit than I'd rather not and keep my options open.
So his average tackle depth was one of the worst in the NFL last year. Like 6+ yards beyond the line of scrimmage. Not saying that's the only thing to look at but it's pretty bad. For comparison a guy like Wagner's was like 3 yards. I'll take LVE back but I'm not going to act like he had a great year. He had a great playoffs and a mediocre season.
Who else could you possibly tag? Just mind numbing.
That's the one guy I could think of. And while I love Wilson he isn't that type of safety.
LVE ran down the RB and saved possible big runs by making tackles when others had whiffed.
