wutOh I see. I do know what a bale is. I guess I haven't shucked one in a while.
Yes! Here was my thought process:I think it came to me after I asked. Luke and Bo right? I think that was their names.
No, that's what you do with a corn cob. Or peas. Or green beans.Isn't that what you do with bales? Shuck them?

Unless he’s talking shuck as in throw. I guess you could throw a square bale. But good luck trying that with a round bale. No, that's what you do with a corn cob. Or peas. Or green beans.
I thought that was chuck not shuck. And, yes, let's please let him ponder the difference between a square bale and a round bale. You can not Google, Geng. That's cheating.Unless he’s talking shuck as in throw. I guess you could throw a square bale. But good luck trying that with a round bale.
As an aside… How confused do you think he will be because you can throw one shape of bale, but not the other.![]()
Modern? It's hard to keep up. These new modern farming techniques frighten and confuse me.![]()
Do you know the difference between a square bale and a round bale, son?

One is bigger than the other. You must guess which one and how they get loaded on a trailer.I wouldn't think there was a functional difference but if we're being honest I obviously don't know the first thing about it.
Square bales are smaller. Usually 80-120 lbs. Round bales are large. 1400-1600lbs. Used to feed much larger herds easier. Squares are rarely used any more, except for feeding individual animals kept close to home.I wouldn't think there was a functional difference but if we're being honest I obviously don't know the first thing about it.
