What would it take to trade from 26 to 3?

I think LVE's presence made a lot bigger difference than most people believe.

I'm all for bringing him back, he's basically the QB of the defense.

Yea it's amazing but there's an argument that he should be the top priority to re-sign.

quite a resurgence for him. we were bashing him for being "slow" and "taking bad angles" and now he's a diamond again.

Dak does too, but Zeke really has to.

The guy Zeke replaced was one of the best running backs that ever played for the Cowboys but everyone thought Zeke was so superior to him. Turns out Zeke had maybe one season that he was truly productive and that was the season he was paid his huge contract. Since then he has been primarily a junk runner and makes 2 to 3 attempts to get to a hole before it closes. He still can’t do this. And by the way the guy that was let go still holds the record for the most yardage ever in a season for a Cowboys running back.
I took a lot of heat because I dared to say he was a better back than Elliot. I get it that he needed to be replaced but my contending that he was a better back than Zeke has long since proven that I was correct.

Zeke was excellent his first few years. He just broke down like all backs eventually do.

He's not making it out of the top 5, probably not the top 4, so I'd imagine we'd have to more or less trade an entire draft for him.

Better to focus on Siaki Ika at 26, although there's probably no chance we take him either.

Dak literally gave us the best playoff performance out of a QB since Aikman last week, he played like shit tonight for the most part against probably the best defense in the league, but the fact that the offense went into the tank after Pollard (one of only 2 playmakers on offense) went down and took the running game with him is very telling.

Dak is obviously nowhere near elite but neither were half the Super Bowl winning QB's over the last 10-15 years. We're quite literally a top 5-6 team in the league right now and should be again next year, the future is about as bright as it can be in this league unless you have a 20 something QB who is literally already a top 5 QB like Mahomes, Allen and Burrow.

But where has Allen gotten the Bills? They were the preseason favorites this year and still no AFC Championship games.

This guy can put up all the numbers he wants and run all over the place, buy he ain't won shit yet and pretty soon, if not already, Bills fans will start turning on him. They'll start with the coaching staff, but another year or two without advancing further they'll come for him.

I get a lot of the Dak criticism, but it's hard to win a Super Bowl. Ask Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, took Elway forever. As great as Aaron Rodgers is he has 1. Same with Brees.

That's why Dak should have another two years to get us to an NFCC in what should be a relatively weak conference. If he can do that, great, if he can't then it'll be nearly 10 years at that point and time to move on if he continues with performances like yesterday.

If we cut Elliott I'd be fine with it because the offense needs to be run-oriented, although hopefully it'd come after filling one of our other holes with a legit FA, i.e. Dre'Mont Jones.
