Booze did.
In all seriousness, with Armstrong, the dude is playing his nuts off after getting the made man contract from the Joneses, which is rare. At least how we do the cheap ones now. I have given the dude shit, but he is producing at a rate where you have to consider him like a Tony Tolbert or something. He does feed off of Parsons, like everyone does. But he is very alert and makes plays, not just on his own but also just being around the ball and free.

It is interesting how he has developed more and more under Quinn and Durde. He was a poor fit under Marinelli, which is weird because he was so much better in a 3-4 type system than a static 4-3. Then the Nolan disaster, which I think we can just go ahead and erase everything and start over when evaluating.

Dang it booze. Don't take away our joy of giving you shit about him.

Should we worry about you?

Don't celebrate it too much.

Armstrong's success is a feather in Goof Son's cap.

Look at the savings versus Gregory.
So, we hate on the crap, but also hate on the gains? This is not how someone should fan a football team.

Until I see the franchise make gains, it is difficult for me to acknowledge player accomplishments. They are the laundry.

And to make it even better, the guy has been damn good on special teams as well.

Didn’t some of Fat Wade’s defenses have strong sack totals?
I got curious so went back and recorded how many sacks we had versus how many were given up every year since 2000.

Holy shit, look at the ratio this season.

Micah Boucher is a machine. And only has three more sacks than Armstrong.

Who the hell saw that coming?
Micah is a natural leader, just makes everyone around him better because they don't want to let him down.

Yes, those were good defenses. The 2008 one wasn't as good overall but it lead the league in sacks. (Anyone remember sacking Eli 8 times in one night?) The 2009 defense finished second in the league in points allowed.
