this is very much a week-to-week team that can't be trusted
It's funny how the upset loss changes the perception so much. Had we just held that lead in the fourth quarter against the Packers, would we still say this team can't be trusted?

Ultimately though, what we look like in December is what really matters. These games are just about where we position ourselves in the playoffs.

Yeah when Dak is on he can be really good. When he gets off though it can be ugly. Today he was on. And I loved that he wasn't afraid to use his legs to get yards or convert a first down. He can't play scared because it throws him way off.
The key is the short throws and getting the running game going then he can settle in and start making some plays later in the game. When he’s running too it opens things up and that needs to be a must in the playoffs.

Zeke with 15 carries and 2.8 ypc. The team goes where Zeke goes! Thankfully Pollard also had 15 carries for over 5 yards a pop and a bunch of receiving yards too.

Zeke was great in 1 yard situations though, that's where he is still really useful. I appreciated today how we weren't afraid to run on third downs. Even if it was like 3rd and 3. The confidence in the run game helps so much.

Oh, and I will not start another chatter thread for the rest of this season. It will be @Texas Ace from here on out. I hope he's an early riser.
The thing about the mojo is that it has to be selective.

I can't start every thread or go to every game -- it's a special power that is not to be abused.

It's just the football Gods coming together letting me know when the magic is in the air and when to make the most of it.

So yeah.... I'll start off every gameday thread so long as the inspiration to do so comes to me organically.

He had two 1 yrd TDs, and was used a lot in short yardage. You can't go by just his ypc. Stats are so easy to manipulate.

Dude was running hard. I think you vastly underrate him. Is he as good as he once was? Of course not. But he's not a piece of shit like so many here like to imply, either.

Chargers get the stop, and suddenly miraculous ticky tack call to give the Chiefs the first down. It's so funny how refs can easily manipulate games.
That play which isn't called 95% of the time basically decided the game. Gave them life and they ended up going down to win it.

Yeah, the final play where the Chargers threw a pick their receiver was held too. But mostly that stuff goes uncalled. Sometimes officials just have a way of making it feel like they get to decide way too much.

Yeah I probably agree too. I was just thinking how much different our confidence level in this team would be different if the Cowboys had won the Packers game that they should have. We would be 8-2 right now with our only losses being under Cooper Rush against the Eagles and an opening day outlier.

But nothing really matters until the playoffs.

I believe that when Dak runs a few times, it makes him a better passer.
