Dude is shifty.
I love the plays where the guy has him lined up, it looks like they will make the tackle, and he just sort of does a quick step and the defender totally misses. It's a really quick move he does that doesn't allow other defenders to sort of catch up to the play. Very effortless.

Now the downside to the guy is he really doesn't have a ton of speed. He isn't going to run away from people. And on top of that he isn't very big. So while he plays tough, he is undersized to be doing that.

Suit him up and if we get into the lead and are winning easily just sit him, if we really need him in some tight short yardage situations then throw him out there.

It's not that difficult.
Why even suit him up? With this week off and the bye week right after, he'll probably be fully healed by our next game.

But if these idiots repeat their mistakes of last year where they keep trotting him out at 70% every week, he'll never heal and won't be productive for us.

He's having a solid season right now and is doing great in short yardage and at the goalline, so I'd like to keep it that way and the only way to ensure that is by letting him heal.

I'd sit him but if he feels he can go and the doctors aren't too concerned about it then I'd suit him up and only use him in case of emergency basically.

If we can’t beat the Bears without Zeke, we’re in deep shit

I think it’s great opp to sit Zeke. On top of two weeks to get right for competitive season second half, it allows Stephen Jones to evaluate how we play w/o Zeke and establish our price ceiling in resigning him

Just saw his 40 was a 4.66... that's weird, especially considering his 10-yard split was good.

He's shifty, not fast. He has great wiggle, but will never pull away from anyone. Hell, Emmitt never was super fast, and he is the all-time leading rusher. You don't have to be a burner to be successful at RB.

Sam Williams was a DNP with Elliott, Noah Brown and Hooker.

Their rush defense is 4th worst in the league.
Yeah and their pass rush sucks, especially after losing their best pass rusher (Who frankly was also kind of sucking at it this year).

I'm not one of these people that says, well if you can't beat them without.... But in all reality I doubt Zeke will be the difference between a win and a loss. We will either win or we will lose because the team can't out flat and played shitty. Pollard is our best RB (At running the ball). Hopefully one of the young guys can pick up a blitz well enough to pick up that portion of Zeke's role.
