Yeah, where would he even play right now? Same with some of the other guys coming back.

Yeah seems like our DE room is pretty heavy right now. Not sure we need another one.
Then trade one which is better than having to cut and hope they make through waivers to the PS. And in Basham's case, I think he is vested enough to simply be a FA. He is at least a utility rusher who can get some traction. He has value.

Wait, I forgot who was running things.

Even then it wouldn't matter, the mileage is the mileage.

20 games a year for 7 years is the same thing as 16 games a year for 9 and I don't see anybody putting up about 2100 yards a year for 7 straight years, which would still require about another 4-5 years of nearly 1,000 yards a season.

That record will never be broken unless they stop tackling.

Yeah, a 20-game season would only affect single-season records, not cumulative ones. And with the way RBs have become devalued, I don't think Emmitt is sweating this.

In the season opener it seemed like Dak wasn't comfortable in the offense.

Really glad to hear that he's being rushed back out there with his first padded practice coming in the middle of the week. :dunce

It's the fucking Lions, let Rush handle it for one more game.

Honestly I am glad they are challenging him. I don’t worry about a set back. It was clear Prescott was mentally off in the opener. If he can’t process better and maintain footwork, that is the tell. The Lions have a very mediocre defense. If he struggles, maybe he isn’t the franchise player everyone says he is.
