Barr is 42 now. (I had to look up who that was.) I meant to mention during the game that he was out there plenty but never did a thing. He might be too slow to play anymore. Sam didn't play until it was long over iirc.

Looking at that chart, they should've gotten Bland some snaps, at least when the game was out of reach.

Just means next year we will have a lot more 12 o'clock games.While it's not at all surprising, it is a bit comical to see just how quickly the organization's gross negligence came back to bite them in the ass.

This played out almost too perfectly. Didn't Jerry repeatedly say, because of Dak's deal, Dak has to elevate the players around him. Well shit, none of that happened. Dak sucked. The players around him sucked. The coaching sucked. Jerry sucks. They got rid of players they didn't have to before the season. What the fuck is going on inside their heads?
This seems like a redneck mob setup. Let the team fail. I personally thinks he wants that so he can hire Sean Payton. But maybe he wants Dan Quinn. Either way, there is no plan. He is literally throwing shit against the wall, and NOTHING is sticking. Some other user commented earlier that the team is rudderless. That is correct. It's an embarrassment.
I think McCarthy is gone. I think Dak is gone. I think we're on the edge of starting completely over. And maybe that's a good thing. But the Jones sure as hell don't have a plan for it. It's just gonna happen as a result of chaos disguised as philosopy.

Dak simply can't be that QB. He can't elevate players, among other things. Never could.

He can't with Dak playing like that.
I'll say it again, I hate that the injury removes basically all scrutiny of Dak's performance last night. How was he that bad? He's not elite, but he's not that awful either. Now, no one will even ask the question.

Dak was a problem but the poor offensive design and sloppy play is systemic.
Two trick plays on the first drive and a completely bungled WR screen that helped torpedo a promising drive?
Especially compared to the Bucs popping a WR screen on more or less the exact same play for 25-30 yards on their very first play?
The problems on offense going back to the second half of last year are top to bottom:
- Spotty QB play (terrible last night)
- Poorly coached/disjointed/undisciplined OL
- Lack of systemic creativity overall but particularly in the running game
- An inability to creatively incorporate Pollard
Other than that it's the same exact shit for the most part.

Trust me, I detest Kellen Moore's Garrett stank and the FO insistence on keeping it. I admit I got triggered the other day when I heard Cosell calling a CeeDee route a Coryell "Bang 8" when we have a classic WCO head coach. So dysfunctional.
But Dak was the main problem last night. Awful. It's like he lost all his confidence or something. And he was so good against this same team a year ago.

Yeah, Dak is regressing because he has had to deal with seven years of coaching. He has shown the potential to be elite but it's going to fall by the wayside unless someone like Payton can come in next year and design an offense that accentuates his strengths and helps him rebuild his confidence.
