I will say this... I think Tyler Smith can be a very good Olineman. Not who I would have taken, but I don't think it's an awful reach. There were better players available, tho.

I will take solace in the fact that we didn't trade up to make this pick. THAT would have been a mule kick to the sack.

The tough thing is the OL went so much sooner than expected. Fuck Green went at 15 and Zion 17. Penning at 19. That was not expected.

Seriously, this TV presentation is so bad. Picks are made, they're talking about players just picked and you don't even know what team they went to with all the bullshit going on. It's like it's the 5th round only we're not out of the 20s overall.

This pick was a lot like Fred in 2013. They had to draft him or face a big gap before the next OT, especially one with position flex

It’s nothing like Fred. Fred had day 1 NFL ability. He was dinged for lack of upside and athleticism but he was smart tough and experienced.
