Yeah I'm starting to worry they really want to scratch the itch. And I get it to some extent. I don't think they plan in actually getting a long term deal done with Schultz and want real options a year down the road. I'm just worried that we are locked in right now to Guard, WR and TE in the first 3 rounds. I hate it, because we are just going to force picks that way. Sort of like we were dead set on corner last year. Missed our guys in the first so in the second it was corner no matter what. And in the end we only used the 3 corners already on the roster for the most part.

I do not have an issue with an offensive-centric draft.
I guess the real issue I have is how do you draft for a scheme/regime that might not be here a year from now.
Part of my issue with McClay is that he is super-awesome at bridging the clear talent issues and working it out the best he can. He is like a negotiator between idiocy.
There is a casino element to the process that is upcoming.
I would say it is exciting, but I am used to fuck ups.
