Play calling and strategies for the offense is part of the game’s scheming but the success of the strategies require execution. Some of the players are not consistent and the success levels aren’t attained as a result. Two sides of the same coin.
The third and fourth side of the coin is the defense’s play calling and strategies and the defensive players’ execution.

The defense isn’t experiencing the execution problems. The offensive personnel are. Execution is more of a player responsibility and it’s the individual players that are lagging behind for the offense. Coaches can only bring a strategy to the field of play. The team members have to make it happen on the field.

Defense isn't as dependent on one player like the offense is... :tippytoe

Talking about the opponents’ defense that plays our offense. There are no golden bullet offensive plays that is indefensible and, similarly, it is possible that our opponents simply out-execute our players

There are more than two sides to this coin

That is great, but the job of a coach is to relate to the talent.

Getting that from the D with Quinn.

Moore? Not so much.

Fix this shit, Rich.

Not 100% convinced he is, but you have to think about how drastic of a change has happened in a short period of time.

You look at a beautiful call and you see the dink and dunk nonsense lately and it is hard to believe he has emptied the playbook.

I hope not.
Doesn’t McCarthy have enough (a) experience to recognize if he is, and (b) power to get rid of him if so?

The highest paid players are on the offense side of the ball. That’s supposed to mean something about players being able to play the game. Those players are not living up to their responsibility. They are being showed up by the younger guys on defense who seem to have a little more fire. ELLIOT is marginal in his production. Prescott is still trying to find his groove and the season is about over. The receivers are recognized a some of the best in the league but are still dropping the ball. Declare who you think is responsible for the lack of production but the production Is below what the offensive should be doing and ultimately it’s on the player.

no, that was a depleted defense, they just gave up. we beat up a really bad team and our fans are like "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO look at us beating up on a bad team, we going to the SB"

give it a week to see if its legit.
I've moved on to the next game too. But if you didn't see a different Dak last night then I think you don't know what you were watching

if Chase Young is in the game, do you think Dak is running? Be honest. Sweat and Young all over our OL, who has NOT been impressive the last 3 weeks.

I dont know. It was a depleted team.

Its hard to judge because mentally that team gave up as well. Dallas rode high on a depleted team, Yippie. It ll look good if the Cardinals cant get it together, but for right now, Dallas done what it had to do, beat up on a depleted or bad team and i dont think washington is bad, but they are depleted and they are certainly mentally checked out. You bring in Young, and i promise you, our OL is having fits again.

Just shut up. This was a damn good win. We stepped on their throats from the very beginning and never took our foot off the entire game.

Young has been out for 2 months, in which time their defense has played their best ball, relatively speaking.

So yea, I don't think him being out made much of a difference, they still had 3 1st round picks on the DL, including Allen who is probably going to be 1st Team All-Pro.

No one has mentioned the fact that Dak actually ran some last night. That meant a lot.
It's not so much him running as being more decisive in moving, I realized last night that it's more pocket presence and making quick decisions than just purely looking to run. He ran a few times last night but it was the decisiveness to move out of the pocket, which could potentially end up being a run, but it also turns into plays like the Gallup shot downfield.

Most of the year he's been hesitant to use his legs and I think that's affected his mental clock as well as his pocket presence, hopefully he's starting to round into form with the playoffs approaching because last night looked like the Dak we're used to seeing.
