Arent Atlanta and Denver very similar teams, both hovering around .500?

Denver is slightly better I think, but yes, they're very similar in that they're both almost exactly league average.

It's funny how the defense can kind of go one way or the other. They started out shaky against Matt Ryan and by the end made him look awful. But the defense is streaky, when things start going good this defense is awesome. But when they start to go south they still have ugly in them (Broncos).

I don't think this defense is going to win games on their own but when the offense rolls they seem to feed off that success and terrorize offenses.

Yea, when we're leading and they can roll downhill and be aggressive against offenses that are playing catch-up there's a compounding effect.

They've shown the ability here and there to bow their backs and be stingy in close games where offenses can stay neutral (Chargers/Vikings) but it's not something they're going to do consistently.

Dude is penalized too much, I'm certainly not disagreeing with that. But he's been hit with some straight up bullshit calls, too. That holding yesterday was a farce, wiping out a long pass play. He has a target on his back, and it seems that whenever a timely 'penalty' needs to be called by the crooked fucking refs, he's the easy choice because of his rep. I'm normally not a conspiracy theory guy when it comes to the officiating, but some of that shit is just obvious.

There was literally almost nothing called against us yesterday until we got up by 33. Then suddenly the penalties rained down like a fire storm. There is certainly a degree of manipulation by officials.

Regardless, he has a target on his back and is doing nothing to clean things up to the point that he is not looked at constantly.

I'd be calling for McGovern but I love what we are doing with him as a FB, TE, WR right now. Now obviously a stud guard is better than what he is doing but it's still pretty cool we have found him a role regardless.

I still don't really like the ultra-aggressiveness on 4th down, the margins are so thin (either of those Gallup completions yesterday were basically 50/50) and in those situations Prescott seems to have a habit of ignoring an open running lane for an easy 1st to take a shot downfield.

He's going to have to be more judicious with that in tighter games against better teams.

Yea, he looked decent in his limited snaps. He's a better player than Bohanna at this point, still a disappointment, but you go with the better players.

If he can give us 15-20 snaps a game that's a win, even if he's still a bust.

I think we only look at him as a disappointment due to the injury. Throw out his rookie year, he was pretty good prior to injury last year.

If he stays healthy from here on out it could completely flip how he's perceived. There's still time.
