Yeah I think it's a cover 2 zone where Diggs is supposed to sort of be sitting underneath the receiver and playing the guy in front of him. The safety isn't in great position and the guy under Pitts didn't get enough depth.

Watching the Chiefs, perfect example of Mahomes being cute "3rd and 10, he throws a ball with his left hand for 5 yards with the defense playing heavy coverage"

Like I get creativity is part of his game but he makes things harder than they need to be sometimes.

He is brilliant when it works but sometimes you just have to get back to basics to cruise to some wins.

If your had to vote Diggs or Parsons for DPoY who do you have?

That's tough, but I think gun to my head I go with Parsons.

We all need to eat crow on Fassel, I definitely didn't (and still don't for the most part) think that the risk of blocking a punt and roughing the kicker is worth the very rare reward of a blocked punt, but 3 blocked punts in 9 games speaks for itself.

And you just know he has some wacky fake punt in the back pocket waiting for the playoffs. It could end up being a fucking disaster, but it could also swing a game.

Kearse is that secondary leader we've missed since Woody retired.

Hope they find a way to keep him around for a couple more years.

I doubt he'll be especially expensive, he's kind of a niche player to an extent and isn't putting up massive numbers. I don't think there will be a very robust market for a box safety who doesn't have much ball production, even if he is very valuable to Quinn's defense.

I'd imagine a 3/10 deal would easily do the trick.

They won't replace Williams at this point in the season but he's all but a goner in the offseason unless he's willing to accept some crazy cheap deal for a decent starting OG.

I'll say this, Jourdan Lewis had himself a day.

Through 9 games Micah Parsons already has more TFL and QB hits than both Chase Young and TJ Watt did their entire rookie years. He's only 1-1.5 sacks behind each of their rookie marks.

He's closing in on Myles Garrett's rookie marks in all of those categories as well. He's only 2 sacks behind DeMarcus Ware's team rookie record.

Tied for 13th in the league in sacks, tied for 11th in the league in QB hits, and TIED FOR 4th IN THE LEAGUE IN TFL.

And he's only rushing the passer maybe 1/3rd of the time (which is smart).

This guy is a fucking football God.

Yea, he looked decent in his limited snaps. He's a better player than Bohanna at this point, still a disappointment, but you go with the better players.

If he can give us 15-20 snaps a game that's a win, even if he's still a bust.
