Parsons already has more TFL and QB hits in half a season than "generational, best DE prospect in 20 years" Chase Young did as a rookie.
And he's only 1.5 sacks behind.
And I say that not to be disparaging, because I thought Young was probably the best DE prospect I had ever seen, and one of the best non-QB prospects I'd ever seen, but just to point out how unreal Parsons has been.
On top of that, he's only 2 sacks behind Ware's 8 sacks as a rookie, which was a team rookie record.
I can't imagine Parsons being a 10 sack guy year after year for 7-10 seasons but he's certainly a rare player and probably our best defensive player since Ware.
