As much fun as it is Garrett-bashing, he’s been without his biggest offensive weapon for an overwhelming majority of his tenure there.

Cut the guy some slack.

He’s a strong character guy and molder of men.

That being said, with Saquon Barkley, I put him at 49% conversion. ~cabbage patch~

Agreed.

Luck was good but not an all timer like he was supposed to be. Same will probably be true of Lawrence, who like you I'm not high on.
I've been on the Trevor Lawrence is overrated train since his Clemson days. I think he'll be a good pro QB but I just don't see him being this generational talent that most of the experts are saying he is. I see him more as QB who'll be somewhere between Andy Dalton and Matt Ryan. If he's in that range, that's still a successful career, it's just not in that generational talent territory.

He is definitely not what I thought he would be. Which is slightly better than Mayfield.

A lot of the hype was to ensure the Jags drafted him, I’m sure.

I remember when Alex Smith had his pro day and every scout stood up and gave a standing O. No way that schmuck deserved that, and it was more than likely a lot of gamesmanship going on.

Tone deaf much? He did multiple stupid things and killed someone. He deserves to be punished severely and if he isn't the hypocrisy of the NFL and the American judicial system dealing with upper class people in different ways is on clear display. F both of these guys

Yeah, I did a lot of stupid shit when I was a kid.
Everyone has, but there should be consequences when you do stupid shit and take someone else's life.
