I think everybody would agree that these are our top two upcoming FA priorities for extension. Based purely on talent Gallup is up there too but the fact that Wilson looks plenty capable as a WR3 at 1/3rd or 1/4th of the price, combined with how much we already have invested at WR in Cooper and Lamb, I think it's unrealistic to expect him back unless he's willing to take a below market deal or perhaps a 1 year deal to boost his value next year after missing so much of this season.
At any rate, these two are going to be extremely expensive unfortunately and it might not leave room for much of anybody else (LVE, Williams, Keanu Neal, etc.). Luckily there aren't any showstoppers beyond these two as Williams can be replaced by McGovern, LVE is a fringe starter to begin with, and Neal isn't necessarily an integral piece.
Before the season I was thinking Schultz could be re-signed for maybe ~8/year but at this point we're probably looking at the 13/year range at the very least. Last year with Dak he was on pace for roughly 700 yards and 6 TD's which would've had him around 5th in the league for TE's. This year he's on pace for nearly 1,000 yards and 8 TD's (prorated over 16 games for comparison) and is currently 4th in the league amongst TE's.
I don't think he'll be able to get into the Kelce/Kittle stratosphere in the 15/year range since they're pretty well entrenched as the best in the league, but Mark Andrews at 14/year seems where they'll likely end up, with the 12.5/year given to Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry as the absolute floor.
As for Gregory, before the season I was hoping we could lock him up on a bargain around ~10/year, but of course that is likely out the window now as well.
You have guys like Trey Hendrickson, Leonard Floyd and Dante Fowler who all got deals in the 15-16/year range in the last year. Floyd was probably the most similar to Gregory in that he was up and down for several years, and was basically let go by the Bears after being picked top 10, then had 10.5 sacks in his first year with the Rams in 2020 and got 4/64 this past offseason. Hendrickson had 13.5 sacks in 2020 before getting 4/60 and Carl Lawson had a grand total of 20 sacks over 4 years (career high of 8.5) before getting 3/45.
Our best argument may be Matthew Judon who got just under 14/year this past offseason after consistently being in the 7-9 sack range for a few years, and is now near the top of the league with 6.5.
Assuming Gregory keeps it up and ends up with around 10 sacks, you have to feel like the floor for him is 13/year, and that's assuming teams are wary of him and he wants to repay the favor to the organization for sticking with him all these years. He could very easily push for 15-17/year if he puts up 10 or so sacks.
Long story short, these two are about to become two of the top 7-8 paid players on the team and it's going to eat into our depth, but that's the price of success.
